Sky Blue

"Sky Blue" is all about drama, color and emotion. A perfect execution on a creative vision for Pierce. One of his earlier works that would later define the visual direction for his current style. To this day "Sky Blue" remains a personal favorite of the artist. 
"Sky Blue" is actually two pictures from the same place and time. A technique known as tiling, two pictures from the scene are taken separately then rejoined for printing. The benefit is vision execution, and achieving twice the detail for oversized printing, which Pierce has been practicing and honing for almost 20 years. 
This piece is a museum quality photograph, created and signed by the artist in his Santa Barbara studio.
